PHYSICS SOCIETY OF MAPUA holds Physics Quiz Bee and Physics Olympics
As part of Mapua University's 96th Foundation Week, the Physics Society of Mapua in collaboration with the
, Mapua is proudly spearheading our annual PHYSICS OLYMPICS ON JANUARY 29, 2021 with two main events: PHYSICS QUIZ BEE 2021 and the PHYSICS EXPERIMENT CONTEST
Get ready for a science-filled afternoon as we have prepared these two events that are sure to unleash the inner scientist in you.
MAPUAN STUDENTS from all schools and departments are welcome and highly encouraged to participate.
If interested, kindly take note of the following information:
1. PHYSICS QUIZ BEE 2021 (9AM - 12NN)
a. All Contestants must register through the following link:
b. Only registered contestants will be allowed to join the Quiz Bee
c. The Quiz Bee will be administered via Kahoot
d. The Zoom ID and passcode will be given to contestants a day before the quiz bee proper
e. All contestants must turn their camera and microphone on during the duration of the quiz bee
2. PHYSICS EXPERIMENT CONTEST (1PM - 3PM)
a. Form groups of not more than FOUR members and register via sending an email to physicssocietyofmapua@gmail.com by Jan 25, 2021.
b Participants shall create a TWO-MINUTE VIDEO of an experiment involving any Physics idea, concept or principle and they may add their own creative input to improve the overall quality of the video.
CASH PRIZES:
i. FIRST PLACE – Php 4000.00
ii. SECOND PLACE – Php 2000.00
iii. THIRD PLACE – Php 1000.00
iv. FOURTH to 10th PLACE – Php 500.00 each
